City Church Albany began in 2011 as a small group gathering in the upstairs room of a bar in downtown Albany. The vision was to create a space where all people could come and experience Jesus in a life-transforming way. Over the years, we've moved 16 times, holding services in various locations throughout the city. In 2022, we found a permanent home at 445 North Pearl Street in Albany’s warehouse district.

Each Sunday at City Church is a chance to connect with God in a real and powerful way. Our worship is a spirit-filled, passionate and unashamed. After worship, we open the Bible together. Our pastors teach straight from Scripture, helping us understand what it says and how it applies to our everyday lives. This kind of teaching is called expository preaching. That means we walk through the Bible, verse by verse, to hear exactly what God is saying, not just what we want to hear. Whether you’re brand new to church or have been coming for years, you’ll find truth you can hold onto and a message that meets you where you are.
